Life’s changes don’t always come wrapped in joy, and not every move is a happy one. Maya is dedicated to supporting her clients no matter the circumstances, understanding that all moves bring their own stresses and challenges. Some transitions, such as divorce sales, settling family estates, relocating to a new city, downsizing, or helping aging parents sell the family home, come with additional emotional and financial complexities. Having experienced many of these situations herself, Maya offers a compassionate perspective and steadfast support. Her personal insight and professional expertise ensure your best interests are always at the forefront, leading to a successful transaction and peace of mind along the way.

With 30 years as a full-time REALTOR, Maya Day has a reputation built on trust, experience, knowledge & passion for the Edmonton real estate industry & the Greater Edmonton area.
Maya launched her career specializing in corporate and military relocations & she quickly built a tight-knit network of real estate leaders across Canada. Within a few years, her business was over 75% repeat & referral-based.
Maya’s passion for the industry is based on a heart-felt compassion for her clients. She focuses on the lives behind the transaction, recognizing & reinforcing that real estate is about life changes & therefore carries a greater responsibility & significance than solely financial ones. She draws from her repertoire of life experiences to bring empathy & perspective to every client, assisting with the emotional navigation of the move as much as the legal and financial aspects.
Her “life resume” includes single parenting, assisting aging parents and managing their subsequent estates, parenting and property division through divorce, real estate investment/rental property ownership, provincial relocation, upsizing, downsizing or many other life changes that affect or involve real estate.
Her commitment to the industry moved her to serve on various REALTORS Association of Edmonton (RAE) committees starting in 2003. She has since expanded her commitment to play a role in the industry’s regulation & development by serving on committees with the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) & REIX. In addition to the numerous industry awards she has received over the past 3 decades, her work experience continues to include dedicated service on various RAE, CREA and REIX Committees and volunteering efforts through the REALTORS Community Foundation (RCF).
She is a proud parent, grandparent & new pet parent as an otherwise “empty-nester”. When she is not working or at one of Edmonton’s dog parks, you’ll find her giving her time to various charities through her continued devotion to the RCF or directly at one of Edmonton’s numerous not-for-profits.
